  Took off normally but crashed in the dark just after the last flare. Sgt White, Sgt Broomfield, Sgt Davies, F/O Rich and P/O Hall all rest in Antsiranana War Cemetery, Madagascar, while the remaining crewmen are commemorated on the Alamein Memorial.
